Got a dodgy call from some muppet claiming to be from Telstra, saying my IP’s been hacked. Wanted me to jump onto this shark.com nonsense for my IP info. I played along, then when I said it said “protected”, they just hung up! Classic scammer move, mate!

When I called the number back, I was met with strange elevator music, which felt suspicious. I believe that Telstra should take action against such dubious callers.
I suspect this is a scam call. I also received a similar call from another number, (03) 9058 2103, shortly afterwards, which was also from Melbourne and seemed to be a scam.
