Call today from accented female alerting me that a sum of $800 from a Mr John P, a purported family member who needed medical attention, had been made against my bank account. She wanted to know what type of phone I was using and claimed to be working for CBA in Sydney. I was invited to contest the claim if I followed a few directions from her. I was not cooperative and so was passed to the 'senior manager', another accented female. I reiterated my position and when I asked for her employee number and asked her to wait whilst I rang the CBA and then Scamwatch, she abruptly hung up on me. I resume this is a scam.
