Five contributors have reported calls from 03 9967 4018 (also written as 0399674018) claiming to be from Frankcom, a debt collection agency. The pattern indicates persistent, unwanted contact with callers switching between multiple phone numbers to circumvent blocks. Another contributor notes the calls persist despite multiple blocks, indicating either aggressive collection practices or spoofed numbers masking the true caller origin.

One contributor documented that after blocking 0399674018, callers immediately switched to a different number and tried again within ten seconds. This rapid escalation pattern suggests automated dialling systems with multiple number allocation.

The timing of reports spans from August 2025 through November 2025, showing sustained activity over several months. Multiple contributors describe repeated contact despite blocking attempts, with one noting they have blocked "multiply times" only to receive calls from alternate numbers moments later.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do callers from 03 9967 4018 keep switching numbers when I block them?

Contributors report that after blocking 0399674018, the same callers attempt contact from different numbers within seconds. This suggests either the use of a dialling system with multiple allocated numbers, or number spoofing. Debt collection agencies may operate this way to bypass call-blocking technology and increase contact rates. Continue blocking new numbers as they appear and consider more robust call filtering options.

Is 03 9967 4018 a legitimate debt collector?

While one contributor identified the caller as Frankcom Debt Collection, reports describe the calls as persistent, unwanted spam with number-switching tactics. A legitimate debt collector typically contacts you consistently from the same number and respects call blocks. If you have a genuine debt, verify it independently by contacting your creditor directly using contact details from your official statements or the creditor's website, never using numbers provided by a caller from 03 9967 4018.

What should I do if 0399674018 claims I owe money?

Do not engage with the caller or provide any information. If you believe you may have a legitimate debt, contact your creditor or the original service provider directly using official contact details. You can also request a debt validation letter from any collector claiming you owe money. Do not rely on information provided during calls from 03 9967 4018, as the caller's claims cannot be verified during the call.

Can I stop calls from 03 9967 4018 permanently?

Blocking 0399674018 alone may not stop the calls because contributors report the callers switch to different numbers after a block is registered. Register your number with the Do Not Call Register at donotcall.gov.au for telemarketing calls. For more aggressive filtering, configure your phone's built-in call filtering, use a third-party call-blocking app, or contact your phone provider about additional spam protection services. Report repeated violations from 03 9967 4018 to ACMA.

What is Frankcom Debt Collection?

Contributors identified callers from 03 9967 4018 as claiming to represent Frankcom Debt Collection. Before engaging with any debt collector, verify their legitimacy by searching the Australian Securities and Investments Authority (ASIC) database or contacting your state's fair work ombudsman. Be cautious of debt collectors using aggressive calling tactics, number rotation, and persistence after blocks - these are warning signs of potentially unlawful collection practices or scam operations impersonating legitimate agencies.

Is staying silent when answering 03 9967 4018 an effective strategy?

One contributor reported that staying silent when answering calls from 0399674018 causes the caller to hang up after about 20 seconds. While this may reduce immediate callback attempts, the safest approach is to avoid answering unknown numbers altogether and let calls go to voicemail. Answering any call, even silently, confirms your number is active and monitored, which may actually increase callback attempts from 03 9967 4018 and similar callers.
