Caller with difficult to understand accent claiming to be from Telstra claiming to be concerned that my IP address had been hacked.

Told him I don’t think his information was accurate. Made him raise his voice and told me of the importance of his call.

Male said I needed to put my phone on speaker to ensure that he could rectify.

Told him I wasn’t with Telstra. He said “everyone in Australia uses Telstra” and started yelling that more activity was happening while I wasn’t “cooperating” with him.

I then hung up and blocked.

I reckon it’s one of those dodgy callers trying to get you to switch energy providers or sell you solar panels. Sounds a bit fishy!

So, this number claims they're from Telstra, fishing about some 'unsecured IP address'. They've got a stack of similar numbers too. Just feels a bit off, you know? Keep your guard up!
