Binance scam.
Carolin calling from Telstra about internet connection. Sounds like scam.
Do not answer this number! They left a voicemail threatening that "your phone service is going to be out of service" and then insulted me by calling me a fool.
I received a text message attempting to confirm access to my Microsoft account using a SMS confirmation code, which raises suspicion about its legitimacy.
I received a call from a very helpful lady who identified herself as being from ANZ Bank. She was trying to confirm whether I authorized a credit charge transaction for $1,000.00. I didn’t respond, and the call ended with no further dialogue from her. While I was impressed with the security aspect of ANZ’s services, such calls often attract scammers. Please take caution!
I missed a call from this number. They did not leave a message. Upon researching the number, I found it is associated with a migration service located in Preston, Victoria.
I didn't answer the call, but a voicemail was left. It sounded like it came from a call center since I could hear other operators talking in the background.
Hare these mongrels trying to scam people.
Telecommuticater agencies should act against this especially when the scammers disconnect the phone no or line!
Scam.
Scammmmmmmm.
Scam! Someone claiming to be from CBA. Don’t fall for it.
Scam.
My wife received a call from this no today.
They claimed to be from CBA and wanted to verify an "unauthorised" transaction made on her account from overseas. As she was right next to me and I suspected this being a scam, I took over and asked him to confirm where is the headquarter of CBA and he very promptly mentioned some address in Sydney, George Street! Irrespective I wasn't going to give any info to him and asked him to give me his contact and case no and I will call him back. He gave me the generic CBA 132221 no and said he can't give me a case no. Blah blah.
Never ever trust calls like these, I believe if CBA has to alert you for an unauthorised transaction, they will always verify your personal details first and will also send a code to mobile app to ensure you that they are genuinely from CBA!
Don't get scammed!:-)
Rang me just now at 6.10 pm.. After I said hello, all I heard was ‘hi I am calling from…’ then they hung up. Had an Indian accent. I’m guessing it was some sort of scam call particularly calling after hours. I’ve also had 3 calls today from New Zealand numbers (I live in Australia and don’t know anyone in nz) so thinking my number has gotten in the hands of scammers.
Rang tonight at Dinner time (wasn't happy, as we have a very sick relative in hospital and thought it was the hospital calling to say he had passed away) and said they were from the Govt Solar Energy Group, and asked if I has solar panels, I told them no, they asked If I owned the property (didn't answer that, none of their fkn business), that Indian person quickly transferred me to another Indian person and started to ask more personal questions, my quick answer was, "Not interested in them, and you have called a Do Not Call Number", and hung up.
