I received a call from someone pretending to be Microsoft (Chinese accent), saying my personal computer was hacked because my phone IP was public, and everyone could see my information.

She asked me to download an app, but when I was at that stage I already knew it was a Scam, so she spelt the name of the app so I could download, and I was not even tipping, I had my phone screen blocked at that stage, and when she finished spelling the name of the app she asked me to say out loud the name of the app so she could be sure I was looking for the right one, and then I said "it's called SCAM, that is what's going on here, this is a SCAM, so I no longer will remain in this call", and then I hang up, they never called me back.

I received a call that claimed to be from a Vodafone call center, stating it was a reminder for my overdue bills. However, I have never had any contract with Vodafone, leading me to believe this is a robocall scam.

I received a call from a number that I believe is part of a Chinese scam operation. They left a robotic voice message on my answering machine, which I deleted, and I have now blocked the number.

The caller claimed to represent DHL and mentioned a delivery issue. However, I have not placed any orders recently, raising my suspicion about the legitimacy of the call.

Got a call from this number twice today. First time they tried to tell me that my internet service was going to be upgraded for a small fee! Given I had just had this done (by Telstra and National Broadband Network) I laughed. They then hung up.

I received a phone call from someone who claimed that I had an important message awaiting me from the Australian government. This raised my suspicion since they do not have my email address or personal information about where I live or work. Additionally, they communicated in Chinese, which seems unlikely since myGov should be communicating in English.

This number called my father-in-law, claiming to be from NBN and trying to schedule a date to change his copper lines for internet service. However, he has wireless NBN and there's no need for this. It's frustrating that Telstra can't seem to take action against these scammers.

I got a phone call from 03 9947 6091 (Melbourne) - I live in Queensland.

Apparently it's Telstra advising me that my IP address has been compromised. She then tried to get me to log into Google and type what is my IP address. Anyway I walked away from my phone and she hung up. She then tried to ring me 4 times in a row on the same number. When I phoned the number it just rings and then disconnects:)

The caller claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank. When I said I would call them back, the call was immediately disconnected, which seemed very suspicious to me.
