The caller claimed to be from PayPal and stated that money was being withdrawn from my account. Since I do not use PayPal, I'm certain this is a scam. Take my advice: do not fall for these dishonest scams!
A woman called claiming I was involved in a car accident. When I expressed confusion since I didn’t recall any such incident, she insisted she was calling from RAC. I hung up when I saw that the number was connected to our local RAC branch. This has all the signs of a scam, and I believe it's best to avoid such calls.
