What Our Users Reviewed
Avoid this very devious scam! I Just received a call from this number with a message from an Australian called Diane supposedly from NAB Berwick branch about our account.
-when I called back I got an Indian man who said his colleague would call back and she did within 30 seconds. She wanted to know what we wanted to do with our account in terms of interest and would not reveal account details balance etc which all sounds legit.. EXCEPT we closed that account 10 years ago.
I strongly advise against answering this phone number. It's a scam call because the person on the line, speaking with an Indian accent, pretended to be a bank employee and called me after regular business hours.
I was initially unsure about the legitimacy of this number after a call I received. I researched online and found that it was not listed under NAB (National Australia Bank). To be cautious, I called NAB directly and was informed that the person who called me did take notes on my file, confirming that the call was indeed legitimate.
