A person named Sam called, claiming to be from Telstra. He immediately asked me to go to my router. I am concerned, as he nearly scammed my mother out of her savings. He has called twice; the second time, when we mentioned contacting the police, he hung up instantly. This needs to be reported and addressed!

The caller was attempting a scam by pretending there was an issue with my Telstra internet connection. They have apparently shifted their tactics from targeting Amazon and Visa/Mastercard users. I found their claims about problems with my mobile devices, tablets, and computers to be deceptive. This call was clearly an attempt to mislead.

I received multiple calls from individuals claiming to be from "Telstra Support." All of them had Indian accents, and the background noise suggested they were in a busy call center. This is likely a scam.

I received a call from someone claiming to be Rob Brown, who said he had used my card. I confronted him about this, suggesting he get a legitimate job instead of scamming innocent people. He seemed upset and admitted it was a horrible job. We ended up having a conversation about potential work he could do instead. It was surprising; I actually felt a bit sympathetic and hope he finds a real job.

The caller asked if I was the account holder for this phone number. I pointed out that since I answered the call for my business, it would be obvious. He then claimed that my number was linked to an Amazon Prime account. I informed him that we are a business and do not have an Amazon Prime account. He seemed confused and ended the call saying there must be a mistake, which I agreed with before hanging up.
