Called my work number and mumbled something about saving.
When pressed for info, they claimed they were "ringing everyone in my suburb".
Trouble is that the they gave "3000" as the suburb name.
(I'm not even in victoria let alone melbourne).
They also claimed they got the number from "Australian Database Services".
Which does not exist (as far as Google knows).
They did not hang up, but did express understanding at my concerns regarding cold calls and data privacy.
Wasted a good 10 minutes of their time before I told them I was not interested.
Company called Powersave, and wanted to know if I paid the energy bills. When I said no she asked me if I knew who the provider was. I also said know, and she then promptly hung up.
Power bill comparison company. Won't answer next time.
Power company, told the caller I'm not the one paying the bills and she hung up just like that. Rude.
Scam call. Pls don't answer. Company called powersource or savepower. Try to get all personal details from us to steal $$$.
Calls me on my mobile, suspect / unrecognised number so I do not answer and let the calls go to voice mail... No messages left and for me that equals "block this number".
