I received a call from an unknown number that did not leave a voicemail. I initially thought it might be a legitimate contact from Victoria since I don’t know anyone from there. However, upon reviewing previous reports, it appears this number is associated with a marketing agency. It’s frustrating that companies often sell personal information, leading to these annoying calls. I have since blocked the number.

This number claims to give individuals a platform to express their opinions on significant topics in Australia, such as financial concerns and voting preferences, with the aim of aiding government and business departments.

I have my doubts about this caller. To me, it definitely seems like a scam.

Do not call register does not apply when they are not selling you anything. You have to ask every company for surveys to take you off there call list.

When I answered this call, there was no voicemail left after the call ended, which is unusual and raises alarms.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Roy Morgan Research. I ended the call as soon as I was asked questions. This call was made around 6 PM on a public holiday in my state, and I am listed on the do not call register.

Very odd voicemail left. An Indian man asking his daughter (or a voice changer) to speak- then the girl in an English accent said something about being "scared" so utterly bizarre - I listened about 5 times.

I ring the number back, I rarely answer unknown numbers any more. There was a recording saying it's Roy Morgan research, it's a bit rude to ring at 5:45 pm. I wonder if they would let me ring them back at home at the same time. I guess at least they have a job.
