Scam. Hung up when I answered.
This number is one of many used by "Social Research Centre". They called me *three times* on a Sunday in rapid succession, despite my having hung up on them the first time, and them hanging up on me the second time because I was a little too slow to speak!!! They deceptively claim it is done for the Government, maybe some is, but it is mostly sold to commercial entities. Do you want your personal information given to such organisations?
How to deal with SCUMBAG data miners mascarading as "social researchers" who sell your information for profit: Tell them not to call you again, and if they do, you charge a fee of $100 per call plus $10 per minute and their calling you signifies their agreement to pay this fee, in advance. Furthermore, tell them failure on their part to pay in advance will incur an additional fee of $1000 per call, plus any cost of recovery.
Have received unsolicited calls from this number before, they don't leave a message. Returned the call a recorded message saying they are Social Research Centre.
Called my mobile, I declined and blocked it. It went to message, but no message was left when I checked.
