I received a recorded fake ATO message threatening to put out an arrest warrant against me. I called the number back and when they answered, claiming to be the ATO, it was an Indian man who could barely speak English. Just had a missed call and voicemail message left from this number. It was an automated robot voice telling to call this number back or they will go to the police for an arrest warrant. Obviously a scam and potentially the ATO scam again.
Left voicemail of a recorded voice demanding I calll the number back or a warrant will be issued for my arrest. I hung up at that point and blocked the number so who knows what stupid reason they came up with for trying to get me to call the number.
