Why do I keep getting calls from different Brightwave numbers if I've blocked 03 9072 8814?
Companies sometimes cycle through multiple phone numbers to contact prospects. If you've blocked 0390728814 but continue receiving calls from other numbers, register on the Do Not Call Register at donotcall.gov.au and request in writing that Brightwave remove your number from their contact list. Each time a new number calls, block it and report the call to ACMA.
Is 03 9072 8814 a scam or just telemarketing?
Based on community reports, 0390728814 appears to be telemarketing rather than a scam. Brightwave seems to be a legitimate solar company contacting people about genuine products. However, the repeated contact from multiple numbers classifies it as spam under Australian Consumer Law if you haven't consented to contact.
What should I do if I'm interested in solar batteries but want to avoid spam from 03 9072 8814?
If you're genuinely interested in solar products, contact companies directly through their official websites rather than responding to unsolicited calls from 0390728814. This gives you control over the communication and reduces the likelihood of being added to aggressive telemarketing lists.
Can I get compensation for unwanted calls from 03 9072 8814?
If Brightwave is contacting you via 0390728814 without consent and ignoring Do Not Call requests, you may have grounds for a complaint. Report the calls to ACMA at acma.gov.au. Compensation typically requires formal dispute resolution, but reporting creates an official record.
Is there a way to stop Brightwave from calling on different numbers?
Register on the Do Not Call Register at donotcall.gov.au. Send a written request directly to Brightwave asking them to remove your number from 03 9072 8814's calling list and all associated numbers. Keep copies of your request. If calls continue, escalate to ACMA.
Should I report 0390728814 to anyone besides ACMA?
Yes. Report to the Do Not Call Register (donotcall.gov.au) to prevent future telemarketing contact. If Brightwave breaches Australian Consumer Law by ignoring your requests, you can lodge a complaint with your state's fair trading authority.
