03 9063 4582: Telemarketer Scam for Victorial Energy Initiatives

This scam caller asked personal questions, such as how many outside doors I have and if I would be home on a specific day. When I mentioned that I was working, the caller became frustrated, told me to stop wasting their time, and abruptly hung up.

I attempted to return a call to this number but found that there was no service available. It seems like a scam from someone in India.

This is a spam caller, specifically someone of Indian descent, attempting to sell a product. I do not appreciate such unsolicited calls.

Scammers, called many times left garbled message, unintelligible nonsense,

They keep calling me continuously despite my refusal of their offer for showerheads. They immediately hang up whenever I request them not to call again.

I received a call from someone asking for "Glenda." It seems like they must be using an outdated list from 1917, as the name is irrelevant and likely a scam.

Ricky, presumably from an unknown call center, tried to persuade me regarding a government program aimed at replacing shower heads. I have previously declined this offer, so I asked him to remove me from his call list. I have now blocked this number.

I called back this number only to find it displayed as "unlisted." I have since decided to block this number to avoid further calls.

I received a call from the same Indian call center again regarding an energy monitoring device. This seems to be a repetitive call from them.

I am receiving repeated calls from Indian telemarketers despite having requested them to stop contacting me. I have registered my number on the Do Not Call Register, yet they continue to call from different numbers associated with the same company.

This was a scam caller who had a foreign accent and was trying to phish for my personal information by asking probing questions.

I received a voicemail from someone named "Bruce" with an Indian accent, coming from a noisy call center. The nature of the call felt suspicious, potentially indicating a scam.

After answering the call, there was a long pause before they responded, and the caller had an Indian accent. They mentioned my first name and stated that they would be in my area tomorrow to replace my shower head. I politely declined and hung up the phone.

This call was regarding the Victorian energy initiative. The caller was difficult to understand, and when I expressed that I was not interested, they abruptly hung up. I received another call from them a few days later with the same experience.

I received persistent calls from someone claiming they were offering to replace shower heads for free. They kept calling until I finally answered.

When I answered the call, the man responded with "yes, hi madam." I simply asked for his name and the reason for his call, and he immediately hung up. This leads me to believe it was just a nuisance call.

I received a call from an Indian scammer. It's frustrating that telecommunications companies, which profit billions each year, do not seem to be taking action to prevent these calls. I wish there was a way to block all private numbers.

I received a call from this number, but I couldn't understand what they were saying. There seemed to be an Indian call center in the background.

This number belongs to thieves operating a call center, posing as representatives from the Victorian Energy Initiative, claiming to offer free energy meters. I encourage everyone to block this number as they use an automated dialer and keep harassing me. I'm puzzled about how they obtained my personal phone number.

Firstly: I liked the old format of Reverse Australia's website better than this new (not) improved version. I dinna laik this 'un as I can't use my old 'nom de plum' that I've used for years. If it aint broke, don't fix it!

Anyway, I had a call from the above number at 19:19 on 18 January 2023. As I didn't recognize the number, and it was after normal business hours I didn't answer it. Caller hung up as soon as call transferred to voicemail which is a surefire indication it's a scammer. Blocked number and reported as always.

I looked up this number due to concerns about spam calls. It turns out to be another call regarding energy products in Victoria, but I don't live in that area.

When I answered it was dears silent. I didn’t make a sound and they hung up straight away. I called back but it was not connected.

I had a call from this number today, but I didn’t pick up. I'm unsure of who it is or what they wanted.

I didn't answer this call, and no message was left. Based on what I've read in other reports, I plan to block this number.

When they start with "hi ma'am" and you hear telemarketers in the background, you know its scam.

F*ing scammers about shower heads. Typical overseas call scamming some supposed Victorian government initiative about replacement shower heads. Told them where to go and hung up.

Scam call centre. Don't answer.

Solar telemarketer. Thick accent and poor quality sound. He said there is free sun in my area. I said no thanks. I only get an hour of sun and said goodbye and hung up the phone.

I got a call from this number just now. They said they were from the Vic Gov Energy Program and wanted to know if I had a digital device in my home. I told them I was not interested and they hung up. Tried calling them back to see what the company really was before I blocked and it was a recording to say the mobile I had called was disconnected and not in service.. Blocked as they are scammers.
