I phoned the number and had a fake name of Henry Smith given and then he wanted me to open a weblink on the PC to Stop the payment.
Of course I did not oblige.
I received an email that claimed to be about a direct debit for a Norton subscription. The email was poorly written, which raised my suspicions. Additionally, I do not have a Norton subscription, which confirms it's a scam.

SCAM.

I received this email about 2 days ago, it looks like no money has been taken. I looked up the company, the amount to purchase the antivirus software was completely different.

I have NEVER purchased any Norton products.
The email was poorly written with multiple fonts (text was copy and paste) and was from a GMail account.

Your membership to antivirus protection will expire today due to the auto-renewal deadline, and you will be charged $523.78 right away. It will be swiftly taken out of your bank's checking account.
