They called claiming to be from a norton virus subscription service, attempting to gain access to my phone. I recorded the entire conversation and have reported it to the police.
Received an email from my Medibank specific email address that "your computer Protection Annual subscription has expired and Auto-Renewed today". This included a fake Norton invoice and this phone number as the hotline contact.
I received a scam email purporting to be from "Norton" which listed this number for contact. It mentioned various alarming issues like an arrest warrant from the ATO, which raises a red flag about its legitimacy.
