REMOTE ACCESS SCAM.
Claimed to be from National Broadband Network, and could fix my internet by changing it from public to private.
Asked me to download Anydesk app from the app store (I didn't).
I knew where this was going so I wasted his time, but eventually he gave up and hung up.
Do not answer this call. The caller asked if I have been experiencing internet dropouts and claimed that it was due to having a public IP address. They requested that I download Anydesk from the app store, which would give them remote access to my device. I suspect they intended to misuse this access to drain my bank account. I decided to play along just to waste their time, but it was clearly a scam.
