This number has called me several days in a row. I did not answer any of the calls, and they left no message, so I have blocked it.
The number (03) 8638 9003 called my Optus mobile at 3:55 PM today, 20th March 2024. I didn’t answer as no message was left. After Googling the number, I found out it is associated with scams, so I have blocked and deleted it.
It is advisable to block this number immediately, as they will persist in calling regularly, even if you are registered on the Do Not Call list. This has been very annoying, and I have now redirected their calls to my spam folder.
The caller claimed to be from Victoria and stated they were helping children who are deaf and mute. I found it unsettling how they seemed to know my name and number, possibly obtained from websites I've visited. It feels heartless that they are using vulnerable children as a front for their scams.
Rang 9 times since late October, seems they try for a few days then come back to me later on.
Three missed calls this week, no message left.
