    Pretty sure they take a hefty share of any donations for "admin" - if you want to donate - always do it directly to the Charity and not through a 3rd party.

    Get multiple calls a day from this number. Have blocked them, they then call on private number. Still can see they are calling multiple times despite the Do Not Call register. Horrific way to extract money from people.

    I didn't get a call but messages saying "You have a missed call from (03) 8637 9002." The phone didn't ring or register as a missed call, just the message. Another dishonest avenue for them to try and contact by getting you to call them.

    To my regret I answered this call, thinking they were someone else. They are Apple Marketing Group, a 'specialist charity fundraising company' on behalf of a charity I stopped donating to twenty years ago. Still pestering me for money after twenty years!

    Publicly available online comments on this company from ex-employees:

    They hound the old in the community to hand over money...
    Management was horrendous, the job is basically a scam
    It's all about charity donations and the main targets are elderly people in old folks homes
    This companies business is to exploit financially vulnerable members of the public to raise funds while claiming to help very sick and disabled people. Shockingly bereft of moral responsibility
    Cut throat business
    Call Centre Manager has been seen to yell in the face of staff members and reduce them to tears

    Number blocked and reported.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
