Called ANZ 131314 and operator had no authority to verify the number however they can see ANZ was trying to contact me re my loan. Also SMS from ANZ listing the number 03 8565 7435 received prior the call - listed as ANZ Home Owner Personal Banker.
Call is from ANZ. Like others, I was suspicious and hung up. I've called back on the web published number and they confirmed it.
This number appears to be from ANZ’s retention department. I called them back using their official main number, 131314, to confirm its legitimacy.
This number calls me one or two times every day without leaving any voicemail. I have chosen not to answer.

They sounded shady as hell and when I told them I’d just go into a branch they became defensive stating at the branch they would just put me through to them again wasting time. I just hung up on them.100 % certain it’s a scam. Don’t divulge any personal details.
Incoming call from this number 2023-01-19 @ 1604 AEST. Caller claimed to be from ANZ Bank asking to talk about my accounts.
Caller unable to ID themselves as from ANZ. Was going to let them do this by giving them a past date and asked them to advise me the exact value of one of the transactions but they were unwilling to do this for proof of caller ID and account access until they ID'd me.
Not the way this works if someone cold calls you they have burden of proof of ID first then they can request you identify yourself to discuss further matters in detail.
Be careful there is enough scams and leaked information out there already.
