Another scam call now blocked.
It seems that this group is visiting a local shopping center, and while they are in the area for a week, they somehow manage to obtain nearby landline numbers—it's quite coincidental. Based on community comments, it appears to be a scam. My call guard system only registers it as a blocked call and fails to connect.
They wanted to install free exhaust fan covers. I agreed and they said they would arrive the next day b/w 12 & 3. By 3:45 no-one had showed up and when I went to ring them back, no-one answered and eventually the line went dead. So I can not contact them to find out what is happening or to cancel them. Very frustrating and this is exactly what happened when I received free showerhead replacements. That guy was over 60 minutes late! I may just tell them to forget it if they do eventually show up.
