Got a call from about National Broadband Network coming to our area which sounded like a call centre. The caller said it was from IF Telecom. After a long explanation about why he was calling he started to ask about information to verify who I am. He then asked for my medicare number at which point I hung up. He even knew my email address so he could send me some information. Sounded too suspicious to continue.
I, ve got a call from this no.. He said they are from National Broadband Network but the company they told me is none existing. Very clever and convincing. Its a spam, beware, as what other also experience the same modus.

This is a phone hacking, do not answer this call, as soon as you do it hacks your connection and then they have control of your phone credit and can use their phone to call anyone in world on you. Its a very smart program however only untill you get your next incoming call then their conection to your credit is cut so they then need to call some other victim to get their line. If you do answer this call use another phone asap to call your phone to break their connection.

I answered a call from this number, no one at the other side, then there was a blip sound, as in voice mail start recording sound, followed by 30 seconds silence and a computer voice saying "goodbye". looks like someone called and recorded on a simple voice messages recorder, for whatever purpose. Highly suspicious.

The people calling from this number are insulting and when asked to stop calling have instead continued to call and hang up when we answer the phone.
