Rang the number back - bloke said they rang me re my elec bill as they have offers.
Don't know if this is a scam to get details or not.
Incoming call using this number. Wanted to talk about electricity. Told me my home address. I said"Now before we proceed with this call, I need to identify you." (Good enough for legit and scammers alike, then it's good enough for me too!) He hung up.
Note: We must ALL refuse to provide ID to incoming calls, NO MATTER WHAT. It's the ONLY way to beat scammers. There ARE alternatives for legits. Just some, including NGOs and government, are just too lazy. INSIST and if they refuse, contact your local Federal politician and COMPLAIN!
