Indian sounding guy with call center sound behind him tried to convince me I had a PayPal account - tried telling him that I do not have a account and he told me that my account was activated in 2018 and has shown no usage for the last 2 years but now someone is trying to buy Woolworth's and Amazon gift cards from it - I told him again "you are not listening to me sir as I do not have a PayPal account" - "NO MAM you are not listening to ME!" - was the response that I got and even though I was trying to be polite I ended up calling him a scamming F***wit and then I hung up as he kept talking about the same stuff - and BTW I told the truth as I do not have an account.
The caller pretended to be from Telstra and insisted they needed my confirmation to cancel my account, which raised my suspicions.
