I received a call from this number at 12.13 today stating that they were from the Commonwealth Bank, I do not have an account with them, as I was having trouble understanding the caller I ended the call. I now know this is a scam.
This was a total scam call. The caller claimed to be from Telstra Internet, which does not even exist as a separate entity. They falsely stated that my IP address had changed from private to public in recent days. Given that they couldn't even provide my name, it was obvious they were just randomly dialing numbers in an attempt to defraud people.
