After I picked up the call from this number, they hung up immediately without saying anything.

The caller had an Indian accent and stated they were from the Telstra IT department. I do not use Telstra, and it is suspicious because my phone provider usually does not call me, making this call seem very dodgy.

Got the call from 0370761244 an Indian man called and said they were from Amazon calling me because of suspicious activity, I asked what is my Amazon account. He tried to spell my name horribly (miss pronounce some of the letter from my name and he tried to correct himself 3 times) and he asked for confirmation, I just said yes and listened to what he said and explanation, once he finished, I told him that I never had an Amazon account and he said there was someone else using my name and asked me to wait in the line, I said to him to call me back when my husband is back from work and he started to sounds panicked. I also asked him to send me an email if he was really from Amazon and he said he couldn't do that because the email will go to the scammer instead and bla bla. It’s kinda not making any sense after that so I hang up. He clearly is the scammer.

They claim to be from Telstra and say that Telstra is the mobile internet provider of Optus and vodafone and other providers. They said that they are calling to improve my moblile internet. They asked me if do I know how to check my mobile internet speed and I said Yes and they hang up. It’s totally a scam. I think they are trying to put in a website for them to hack in my phone.

From 03 7076 1248, the person on the other end, Esther Zonas, said she was from Telstra and that there was trouble with my IP address not being secure. She offered to give me the security she said I needed. She said she worked from Exhibition Street, Melbourne (anyone can look that up). She could not clearly explain what she was going to do to make my IP address more secure - so I hung up and reported her as a scam caller to Scamwatch.

I continue to receive calls from this number and similar ones. They often use an automated American voice claiming to be from "Visa" discussing "two transactions." This has been extremely annoying, similar to calls I have received claiming to be from "Amazon."
