I received a recorded scam call pretending to be from Amazon, stating that my non-existent account is overdrawn.

This scammer's automated voice warned that I would be charged $99 for an auto-renewal and prompted me to press 1 to speak with their cancellation department.
This was a persistent NBN scam; I hung up after a few seconds, but they called me back three times after I ended the call. I ultimately ignored their calls and blocked the number.
