This number had 03 in front of it to look like a Melbourne number. He said he was from a Telco who represents all the Telcos. He had my name but my partners number who actually has a different surname! I was harassed on the phone when I said I would not give my details or transfer to the new 5G network without something in writing from them listing all details. Once I had read the details at a later date I would decide whether I wanted to transfer or not. I gave my email address to him to send the details so I could read it at a later date in my own time and decide whether I was interested or not. The guy transferred me to his supervisor who was rude and aggressive on the phone telling me ‘that’s not how it works’. He said by sending the email I was confirming that I was accepting the transfer! Wrong!!!! I said I’m not accepting anything. I have not decided. He was loud and completely talked over me and would not hear what I had to say. So I told him I wasn’t interested and he promptly hung up on me. Be safe, scam scam scam……
I also never received the email that the first guy said he sent…. SCAM SCAM SCAM.
The caller was offering great deals for internet services, but I decided to block the number.
As soon as I answered the call, the line was disconnected immediately. It felt like a prank or a scam attempt.
