What Our Users Reviewed
The caller pretended that I didn't speak English and continued to spam me with calls. This behavior is excessive and very annoying.
The number called me but did not leave a message. When I called back, I found out it was a company called Power Saver wanting to discuss electricity services. It appears to be a marketing call.
I got a phone call from this number yesterday and today.
I know it’d be a scam so I was just playing with an operator.
She asked me for my address so I asked her the address where she works for. She didn’t answer that for an unknown reason. I wonder why.
I just hung up as she muted the phone and seemed to talk with anyone.
We have had two calls from this number today. The first one was a lady and asked for a certain person so I told her she had the wrong number. I did a search on the number and had no results so thought perhaps it was a genuine call. I have just had a call from the same number and straight away the fellow goes into a spill about an electricity rebate of $200 blah blah. Didn't really understand much of what he was saying but as soon as I told him he had called a work place and I no idea who the provider is as I just work here he said "So you are not the owner of the business?" As soon as I said no he hung up on me. A couple of red flags is the amount he quoted is not the correct amount and the second is, we are getting it automatically regardless of what provider we are with or where in Australia we live so there is no need for him to be calling anyone. Not a very smart scammer when they can even get the details correct for what they are trying to scam. I am sure I would've had to provide card details for the rebate to be paid onto.
