03 7050 7128 has been reported as a scam caller, claiming to offer reduced energy bills. Learn how to handle calls from this number and protect yourself from potential scams.
In recent weeks, numerous reports have flooded in regarding a persistent caller from the number 03 7050 7128. Users have widely classified this number as a scam related to electricity offers. With feedback from various recipients, it’s evident that this number is not connected to any legitimate business and is instead tied to aggressive telemarketing practices.
A common theme among reports reveals that these calls come from individuals with strong foreign accents, often identified as having Indian accents. The callers frequently claim to represent a company providing offers to reduce electricity bills for businesses, a tactic seeming to target small business owners. However, when questioned about their legitimacy or pressed for more information, these callers tend to become aggressive or rude, further raising suspicions about their reliability.
Several reports indicate that the same individuals operating under this number have previously contacted users from various other numbers, portraying a methodical and determined approach to pushing their offers. Many recipients reported receiving multiple calls in quick succession, leading users to block the number entirely.
Ultimately, the pattern of conversations reveals key warning signs typical of scams:
- Repeated Calls: Multiple users have reported receiving numerous calls within a short time frame—indicating a relentless sales tactic.
- Rude Responses: Callers responding aggressively when the recipient indicates disinterest—often leading to insults or unprofessional behaviour.
- Demand for Information: Insistence on speaking to “the boss” to extract potentially sensitive information, a classic red flag in telemarketing scams.
In dealing with 03 7050 7128, the best step is to ignore and block the number. If you do answer and find yourself engaged in conversation, do not provide any personal information, and consider hanging up immediately if the conversation turns aggressive or irrelevant. It’s always safer to avoid such encounters altogether, especially when a phone number appears murky after a Reverse Phone Lookup in Australia.
In conclusion, to protect yourself from potential scams, it is vital to remain vigilant. Trust your instincts; if it feels like a scam, it probably is. Indian lady introduced herself as electricity bill company and asked for my boss. When I said we are not interested, she started to argue with me how I know if my boss is not interested. Clearly told her DO NOT CALL US BACK. Typical scam call.
My boy Victor called again.
This time my boss answered but he was looking for me thinking I was the boss. My boss said she'd transfer him over and ended up just putting him on hold. Currently waiting to see how long it takes for him to hang up.
Good way to deal with scammers to waste their time. Highly recommended.
Said his name was victor from ‘something business’. Called about reducing electricity bills for our business. Asked if we had solar panels. Wants to speak to the director. Very insistent on it. Judging by everybody else’s experience, I think we can safely assume it’s a scam.
Can’t actually remember what he called his business name… but he said the word business as part of the name so I can’t imagine it’s a real thing.
A female caller with an Indian accent contacted me, claiming she was from an electricity company. She asked if I was the boss, to which I replied no and expressed disinterest. Instead of accepting my response, she tried to argue with me about my refusal.
I received a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to represent my electricity company. The longer I stayed on the line, the more they seemed to pressure me into giving them my personal information. I recommend just hanging up on these types of calls.
I received a scam call asking about energy providers. Interestingly, they even called my workplace asking for the owner, which was quite amusing but still suspicious.
I'm not entirely sure about this call. The caller mentioned they were reaching out about our business electricity bills and inquired whether we had solar panels. When I said my boss was unavailable, the caller refused to send an email to follow up.
I was just called by this number now - Indian sounding woman claiming to be from some energy company. I've had this lot call before from many different numbers - usually country Victoria. It's a scam. Block and ignore.
Same thing happened to us over and over again. They just kept on calling with different numbers. HAHAHA.
They are calling about an offer to reduce electric bill. He keeps on insisting to speak to the owner. Haha scam.
Did the same thing to me actually called me back to abuse me for hanging up lol.
This is a scam.
Answered call to silence then a BLIP connecting sound, bloke says "Hello? I'm calling about the electricity acct for the business" - I just hang up the moment I hear that now to avoid a 10min roundabout pointless conversation, they never call back anyway. If they were legit they would know my business name, or open with where they are calling from - stop wasting everyone's time you sods! These always seem to come from 03 numbers, I feel bad for Victorian businesses these days.
Told them I wasn't interested and for some reason this guy thought it was okay to start ranting at me and call me a dumbo. LOL.
He said something about electricity? And wanted to talk to boss. can't understand because of the accent.
This indian ugly dog called back to abuse me because I hang up when he told me he is from Business Offer. Scam company and feral employees.
Indian scammers from a call centre overseas. Do not answer and block the number.
Scam caller.
Scam caller.
Call from 03 7050 7128; my boss took their call, and told the person we are not interested thank you good bye and hung up. Then the person called back and complained at me, because I then answered the call, half the stuff I couldn't understand the person, and said sorry what was that last bit you said and he hung up on me!! How f**ken rude!!
Calls from Business offer for electricity. It is strange that number does not come up when doing a search. Very persistent, have called 5 times between 11.50 am & 1.10 pm today. Same people have called from other numbers that I blocked. Always have accents. I asked them to email the info & it got flagged by my security system.
Scum call.
