Straight up, this number reeks of a scam!
This number called me very early at 4:56 AM today, but I did not answer. It’s advisable to be wary of calls coming at odd hours.
This is a clear scam call. The caller, claiming to be from Energy Savers, was unable to pronounce my name correctly and identified himself as Eric Watson. When I expressed my disinterest, he laughed and said he was the boss. I told him I would report him to the ombudsman, and then I hung up on him.
This is a scam operation using names from a government website that supposedly offers rebates to change your electric hot water service. The calls are coming from Sydney numbers with the 02 prefix, and it takes a long time to get connected.
Got a call from this number this afternoon, when I answered they hung up.
Man with heavy accent asking if I revived bills by email or post. Minor living with parents and tried to get me to find information out. Hung up in the end.

A lady with strong accent called in, with extremely unprofessional way of asking my energy information. She knew my name and I asked her where did she got my info. She replied that she got it from some kind of government. It was ok and not too bad up until here.
I actually went along with it and provided the rate on my energy bill and she let another guy to call me back to ‘compare my energy rate’. The guy was pushing even harder and asked for more energy consumption info. He gave a comparable lower electricity rate and pushed even harder. I insisted to have a written copy through email, he refused, and I later requested it again. He rudely replied no and hung up on me.
I’m guessing either they are lame, unprofessional telemarketers, or scammers trying to get my credit card information.

The lady states she is going to give me discounts on my energy bill.
She then asked how much do I pay for my energy bills?
I advised she should know that information.

I think its a scam.

Have to hang up as she started raising her voice when I didn’t provide her any information. I say its a scam!
