I was called from this number. It was NAB Fraud as I had made a transaction and my account had been locked due to suspicious activity. Except for asking my name and address no personal details were asked. They were able to tell me what I had done in the last hour online. NAB was confirming it was me as the number as many people are being scammed into moving money to other "so called safe accounts". Perhaps my age was a factor in cause for concern however this time it was legit. I am happy for my account to be locked and to be inconvenienced for 1/2 hour than lose my precious few dollars.

The phone number belongs to a service that pretends to be from NAB. They often lock my account without cause, claiming they are looking out for potential scams. Despite having many discussions and written complaints about this practice over the years, they continue to expect me to justify my spending. It's frustrating, and it feels like they are targeting older individuals by assuming they don’t understand how banking works.
