What Our Users Reviewed
Was told he was from Telstra, internet problems, most likely another scam artist, I told him so as well.
Just got off the line. Had a strong accent. Claims to be a provider from Telstra even though my provider is clearly a different company. Went along with it. They said my internet is not secure as there is someone trying to hack. Was told to check my modem and check for blinking lights or any different coloured ones(my modem was perfect). Then told me to connect to my own computer so that they can secure for me. As if! Scam/Hacker.
Got a call from this number. A dumb dude went on about Telstra broadband connection and how it will stop eventually etc.
I told him you called through corporate and this will be investigated further. Loser hung up the call.
Just got a call from 03 6462 2587, someone claiming to be 'James' calling from Telstra. But then he hung up. If he was really from Telstra and had a legitimate reason to call, he wouldn't have hung up. I smell another scam in the making...
Caller claiming to be from Telstra reporting that internet has been hacked. Will hang up if ask who specifically they need to speak to. Obvious Scam - Hang up Immediately.
