I have received multiple calls from this number, but they never leave any messages. When I tried to call back, the number was not connected, which raises some suspicions.

The caller was pretending to be from the Bendigo bank about a recent $810 transaction.
Very interesting that the caller new my sir name.
I knew this was a scam call by the delayed time he took to speak and his accent when I answered the call.
I know that the Bendigo bank will never call you and ask about recent banking transactions.
These scammers are getting good at spoofing phone numbers to make it look like the call is coming from the Bendigo area where you live.
Solution: Reply to the scammer caller with some very descriptive Australian words and hang up on them.
This is a fraud call regarding the commonwealth bank it is NOT the fraud team as they state Kevin Williams is a made up name from the person who calls.
Received a call from this number asking for me by name claiming to be the Bendigo Bank and saying $2800 had been transferred from my account. I questioned how they got my number and he said that this is the number I provided when I opened my account. I told him I was confused because I didn't believe I had an account with Bendigo Bank and he hung up.
I held an account with them over 10 years ago so it did make me think. Be careful everyone, never trust an incoming call and confirm it with your bank yourself.
