Indian guy claiming to be from commbank saying I’ve made an international transfer of $400 to the U. S and that they want to get some information from me to help me stop it. Was very strange. Super loud call centre, and the guys wording was really weird too, like he was trying too hard to sound legit. Definitely a scam.

Definitely a SCAMMER.

A caller claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank, stating that an unauthorized international transaction of $480 had occurred from my account. I informed them that I would contact the bank myself to verify, as I don't bank with CBA, indicating it's a clear scam call.

Claiming to be from National Broadband Network saying I have speed issues on internet etc.. They will get you to do a speed test, run command etc etc (I got bored at this point and disconnected). Don't answer them is easiest.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Commonwealth Bank. They asked me to confirm if I had made a transaction of $400. When I asked whether I had an account with them, they seemed to realize they were caught and started insulting me in Hindi. I couldn’t help but respond to them with some choice words.

The caller claimed to be from Visa and Mastercard but was clearly spouting nonsense. I'm really fed up with these scam calls.

I received an automated voice call from Amazon, stating that I would be charged $99 for a subscription I do not have. This is a scam! I could not find any information about this number on Reverse AU, so I have blocked and deleted it. This call keeps coming every week.

I received a call from 03 4433 5651 claiming that they were calling from Commonwealth Bank Australia. I had trouble hearing him and when I asked him to repeat his request he got angry and shouted at me. He was asking about a $499 transaction on my account.

I think it was an Indian scam call. If it truly was the CBA they need to smarten up their act because this man’s behaviour was rude, disrespectful and downright unacceptable!!!
