Scam call telling me someone is using my visa card to purchase from eBay. I don't have a visa card:)

SCAM - When I answered, they hung up straight away. This is likely so they can store your number in a database knowing you are more susceptible to answer scam calls.

It appears deceiving as the number states they are located in Bendigo, hence trying to establish trust.

Stay safe from scams - don't answer calls you don't recognise, unless you are expecting a call from a number that is not in your phone contacts!

The caller ID showed "Potential fraud," and I reported it as such. When I attempted to return the call, I only heard an engaged tone, which is often a sign of a scam.

The caller said they were from eBay and have a $499 gift card. Believe it is a scam as I don't use eBay.
