Received a call d rom this number it was automated saying everything everyone has said here is it a scam I lm not avoiding my taxes and have not received anything in the mail.
I had a call from 0344103032 to my mobile phone. The man said he was from the CDDP (Dept Prosecutions) and that I was being taken to court for tax fraud. He asked for the name of the lawyer who would be representing me and I said I don't have a lawyer. He said "You don't have a lawyer?" then hung up.
I phoned back the the same person answered and said it was ATO.
A few reverse phone number sites have calls recorded from this phone number with similar stories.
Sounds like a scam.

I was called from 0344103032 this morning. Man claimed to be from the CDDP - Commonwealth Dept of ... Prosecutions. Demanded I be at a court hearing where the government were suing me for tax fraud.0When I asked for the matter in writing he was quite rude, said I hadn't replied to their mail (??) and demanded I appear in court (no details.
My accountant knows nothing of this - nor have I received any mail from CDDP.
