Robot call saying there had been fraudulant transactions on a visa card and I should press 1 to speak to someone.

Didn't identify which visa card or any particular bank & I just hung up.

(Should have talked to them to waste their time but it was my work mobile and I am busy at work anyway)

New scam just dropped (and reported to Scam Watch):

Received a robo call allegedly from the "financial intelligence unit" asking me to press 1 as suspicious transactions had been identified. I pressed 1, some guy claiming to be an officer (I didn't catch his name) asked me why I called, I reminded him that he called me.

I asked him if he was associated with my bank or another financial institution and he claimed to be from the financial intelligence unit of AUSTRAC. He confirmed my phone number with me (which wasn't hidden so I didn't bother to hide it) and then asked for my personal details so he could confirm my ID before he spoke to me further. I declined to provide them and instead told him I'd call AUSTRAC directly.

I got an automated scam call that ended up in my voicemail. It featured a robotic voice asking me to press 1 to speak to an agent, and it was conducted in an American accent, which felt suspicious.
