Just had call from this number stating they are Telstra offering a 30% discount on my bills. But wanted me to confirm my identity. I said you called me so you know my identity so how about you email me on the email account I have registered with Telstra. Complete scam.

Scam. They start offering a 40% discount plan from my current plant at Vodafone (I am pre paid so don't even have a plan with Vodafone). When I asked them how discount I will have based on my plan, they started asking for pin numbers. Then when I said I do not have a plan and I'm prepaid she hang up. LoL.
