I encountered the same scam call as before claiming to be from an Australian epidemic alert service. They prompted me to press 1 to identify as an Australian Nationality, but I hung up and blocked the number before proceeding any further.
This is a scam call designed to intimidate people into compliance. The recorded message mentioned an "Epidemic" and prompted Australian recipients to press 1 and Chinese recipients to press 2. I have blocked this number, and I advise others not to answer it as it is clearly a scam.
Scam caller. Ignore it and then block the number.
The message left stated: "For Australian nationality, press 1. For Chinese or student, press 2." Then it proceeded to say, "Hello, Epidemic Emergency Notice."
Did not answer this call. Called back using Skype (appears as a 'private number' at their end). Got a recorded message saying "??? Call Centre, please hold the line". No name, no company. Probably a SCAM. I just hung up.
