What Our Users Reviewed
Persistent scammer tried to call me even after I hung up, had to block this caller. They called for the same reason as other reviewers.
A total scam call saying I was registered a China mobile number and involved with issue and ask me to go to the police station, number looks real as the police station number so everyone be careful when receiving these calls.
I had the same call just a few mins ago claiming that I registered a number in China and making scam call and message. Even given me the name of Brian Jefferson. This number belongs to Liverpool police station (I checked the website). I said I’ll call back and ask for him and hung up. Tried to call this number but no answer.
Exactly as the previous report. Claiming that I registered a number in China and asked me what ID I used for the registration. Poor English from 2 males. Funny experience.
Got phone call from this number said I got report by a number from China about the illegal fund investigation. But the name he mentioned is my social media name. Not my legal name. Scam for sure.
I received a call from someone claiming to be from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). I am unsure if this is a legitimate call or a scam, so I felt it was important to report it.
I first heard a beep from an answering machine, followed by a man claiming to be from a national anti-scam organization. He made threatening statements, alleging that my phone number had been reported to the police for sending scam messages. The tone of his voice was aggressive and untrustworthy, and he did not sound like any law enforcement officer.
