02 9223 2702 number called me three times and ringing continuously until I answered the phone. I was at work on a busy Monday and this is harassment and bickering!! How come these scammers with a heavy accent get our personal details, travel details and family member details. I got bit angry and raised my voice because I was in the middle of a training and didn't want them calling me again and again. They are rude and when the caller said about vigilance and me getting arrested then I proactively told him to send the 'legal document' that he's referring to and I will see him in the court. He hang up when I asked him questions and about the legality of the issue. Please don't get tricked with this fraud scammers. I want to know where to complain about these people as the land line phone is showing 'Indian Consulate Sydney'.
Its a scam.. I said I refuse to give out any information until he verifies who he is.. He slam the phone on my face.
I got a call saying that I am calling from Indian embassy in Sydney and you have wrongly filled your Immigration form while coming from India so your visa will be cancelled and you have to go to jail. When I asked for his identity and an authenticated mail from his side, he disconnected saying that we will send a mail to you which never came.
