User Reports Analysis
From the feedback shared by the users, it is evident that the motivations behind calls from this number are dubious at best:
- Misrepresentation of NDIS: Several users report that the callers claimed to be calling from the NDIS, which has raised suspicion. A user on 25 January 2023 explicitly mentioned the direct claim of affiliation with NDIS but noted they were met with silence after answering.
- Pressure Tactics: There are instances where users were urged to provide personal information before receiving clear answers about the nature of the call, which is a common red flag associated with scam operations.
- Authenticity Concerns: While one reviewer noted a call purporting to be from the NDIS IT support, others quickly debunked any legitimacy by confirming that NDIS later stated they had no record of any outreach to such users.
