Someone called pretending to be from Telstra, claiming they were there to fix my internet issues. They knew my name, which was unsettling, and they requested more personal details. I informed them that I would be contacting the Australian Federal Police (AFP) regarding this suspected scam. They hung up shortly after, and I want to clarify that I do not have any internet services registered in my name or with Telstra.

Rang up telling Telestra ip has changed to public. And when I was trying to talk she said SHUT UP and hung the call. Sure they are SCAMMERS.

Spam, called to report issues with my Telstra internet connection.

I live 50km from the nearest town and have neither an National Broadband Network connection nor a Telstra anything.

Hung up when I mentioned this and proceeded to sell them starlink and offered a referral code.

I received a call from this number from a lady claiming to be from Telstra asking if I had some internet trouble, which I currently did. She then transferred me to a male officer who tried to help by trying to connect me unsuccessfully to their remote service. He then transferred me to Kevin who gave me further instruction, fortunately this did not work either. Kevin also told me that these technicians were the only people who could help. I became suspicious at the length of time this was all taking (49 mins) and discontinued the call.

I immediately received calls from the following: 02 9129 3035,3031 and 3032. Then mobile 0485 971315 (twice) and 03 4223 8563(Colac twice). I did not answer any of these calls.

When I called back the number, it directed me to an answering machine that claimed I had reached customer service, which seemed suspicious and likely a scam.
