All have similar tales such as “your broadband has been hacked”, “someone has compromised your account” and so on. Callers appear to get more aggressive the more you tell them you have nothing to do with Telstra. Poor English skills but can swear at you like a trooper.
Male with indian accent asked for me by name. I asked what it was in regards to and would pass on a message. Said he was from Telstra stating my phone had been hacked and they needed to sort it immediately. Advised him that no one in my family has been connected to Telstra for over 20 years. He then told me to F off and hung up.
I answered, female Asian female, Poor English, asked for me, by name, I said he's not here, leave a message, she Hung Up. Number is close in format to a number last week, claimed to be Telstra, about my account. Said not with Telstra, got a hung up. I BLOCKED.
