It is evident that this call is a scam; however, what struck me as odd was that they actually left a voicemail message.

I received a robotic voice call asking me to be connected to a line to cancel an eBay debit. This is a SCAM. I only answered because I was expecting an important call from a client in New South Wales. In hindsight, I should have ignored the call and let it go to voicemail.

I answered a call while driving, but after I said hello, nobody responded. I found it strange and decided to block the number after the call.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Amazon, stating that I was about to be charged $99 for a Prime subscription. I quickly hung up because I sensed it was a scam. It's frustrating to receive at least two of these calls every day – when will authorities take action against these callers?

The caller hung up without leaving a message. I prefer not to waste my time on such calls.

I have encountered this scam message before. It states that I am about to be charged $99 for my Amazon Prime membership and encourages me to press a number if I want to dispute this charge. Amazon is aware of this scam and has warned users about it on their website, but it’s interesting to see this number associated with various fraudulent calls.

I received a robocall claiming to be from eBay, trying to confirm some sort of order or transaction. I didn't get any further details, but it was a significant nuisance and a waste of my time.

B

I received a robocall claiming that my credit card would be charged $99. I don't use Amazon, so I pressed '1' out of curiosity and ended up cursing out the scammer named David. He claimed not to be affiliated with Telstra or Amazon Australia Post, which felt suspicious.

Got a call from this number purporting to be from Telstra and telling me my internet connection is having problems. I played along. I said I could not check my computer as I was not at my desk. When she asked me if I was a business I said yes, and she asked the name of it. When I suggested that, since she called me, she should know that information.... She hung up very quickly.

Caller supposedly from Telstra. Tried to get me to install Ultraviewer, a remote desktop software. Kept him on the line for over 30 minutes until he figures I was messing with him.

Lovely lady called Sandra with a heavy Mumbai accent rang our home line saying they were updating the 'do not call register' - classic... Had to laugh out loud and then politely asked Sandra to remove me from the her call list but to please leave me on the do not call list - she didn't get the irony.... Maybe a breakdown in communication!
