This number is associated with a phishing attempt whereby you receive a text along the lines of "Your Google Authenticator has been paired with a new device. If this was not intentional, our support team is available at 0290716012".
If you call that number is will be a noisy line with an Indian on the other end asking for your name and telling you that your Google Authenticator app has been paired with an iPhone in Belgium.
I checked my account with Google and there was no sign of any nefarious activity.
Beware.
I got this call asking about my crypto accounts because there was some 'attempt to breach'. Oddly enough, it's from a Google number I've had messages from before. What the heck?!
