Big fat scam.
Scam scam scam.
Missed call, no voicemail.
Called back. Seems like a fake automated call centre answering prompt, then transferred to an "agent".
Something about free government grant about electricity, wanting to confirm info. Immediately hang up.
SCAM.
I was contacted by a call center that appears to be scamming Australians. I'm not sure what they are selling, but when I tried to call back, I could hear other conversations happening in the background, and then the call was abruptly disconnected. I called back again, and it went to an answering service directing me to stay on the line.
I received multiple calls from this number around 16:12 PM, with four calls coming in within just 60 seconds. I rejected and ignored all of them. It seems like scammers are very persistent in trying to get through!
