What Our Users Reviewed
Just received a call from this number with a recorded message from 'PayPal' about a $299 transaction last night. The speaker had a strong accent. Called back, answered by 'PayPal' again with a very strong accent. Recorded message sounded dodgy (and I have made no purchases).
The National Broadband Network scam call is having a field day today, I have been called from both 90665457 and 90665472 within 90 mins of each other this afternoon, both calls using the same recorded message (well the first few words I hear before I end the call). Probably the 10th time I have received this call now. It makes a change from the 'ATO' telling me I'll be arrested shortly.
It rang me just a moment ago. My phone showed as "Potential Fraud", but I decided to pick up. It hanged up on me. I rang back and receive a voice saying "the number you dial is not in use".... I have no idea. It must be scam as other people have experienced.
Caller was foreign & hard to understand. Said he was with Commonwealth Bank. When he couldn't be understood he hung up.
Called and didn't answer. Probably afraid.
Called me claiming I had made a purchase of $399 for eBay the previous night and tried to act as if it was legit by saying the account was associated with my number. I told them I don't have my number registered with eBay and asked them to tell me the email associated with the account. They couldn't tell me but they said they could be sure it was my account, so I asked them for my name. She got really flustered and couldn't tell me and hung up. Blocked and reported for being a scam.
